This Spring, the GLCPS garden received some tender care! We emptied two compost bins down below, carted and carried buckets up to the garden, spread it all amongst the flowers (which I had watered beforehand), brought up the last of the dead leaves from last fall and mulched on top. The little ones – each with their personal gardening gloves – spun and emptied the composter, carried buckets, pulled out weeds, composted and watered the new tree and spread mulch. They are definitely a group of ‘hard-working Walkers’. It was fun and we did a very complete job. Submitted by Nancy Phillips
